bedroom makeover

way back in april, i did a little bedroom makeover...this is the first opportunity i've had to take the "after" pictures....i like the light in there at about 3:30, and i'm never home then!

these orange-walled photos are the before pics....

                                                       and now the "afters".....

i went with a taupe-y color on the walls (which in some lights looks like my favorite muted purple), switched the dining room rug with the bedroom rug and picked red and purple as my "accent" colors. it's still got a ways to go...details still missing, but i like it so much better now! when evan is away at lacrosse camp, his room will be getting a makeover next!
