as an aside

i bought this beautiful hand-spun yarn at spinning wheel studio's etsy shop (http://www.etsy.com/shop/SpinningWheelStudio) a few months ago. it's a beautiful corriedale with absolutely no scratch factor that i can detect at all (and i can usually detect it!). what i made from this beautiful yarn is not particularly inspirational, but i am a darn-good sweater maker who's NEVER made a decent, well-fitting hat in her whole life. this hat fits me PERFECTLY.
(i notice the colors are off on my monitor, so i bet they're off on yours, too! this yarn has an amazing medley of dark green and purple with some light values thrown in; it's truly beautiful)
