new necklace

finished last night and placed on my beautiful faux-wood school desk.

it's a good thing i like it, because it used a LOT of material and took a lot of time...it would be a very expensive necklace if i wanted to sell it.

i hope to carve out some time this weekend to get my light tent and good camera out....

Wow, Holly! It looks great. So much cool stuff going on. Are those tube beads wrapped around a knitting needle? Like those hinges that looked so hard to make?
We have entered glass month!! Can't wait!

thanks, lizzie!
and yes, barb...they're tiny tubes wrapped around a 1.5mm knitting needle...i'm still struggling with getting them even and consistently thick all the way around...they're too lumpy and imprecise to make any kind of hinges...24 days and counting to GLASS...i'm slowing down with silver for now, it's so expensive...i'm going to concentrate on FINISHING unfinished projects....
