about that silver fusing that everyone online says is so easy? not so much. 20 tries later, still refusing to fuse. melt, yes. fuse, no. i think i might need a plan b for finishing the commission necklaces. twisted sterling wires to join clasp and chain?

Argh! I haven't tried it yet, but am hoping to have my fine silver waiting for me on the dock when I get home tomorrow.
Hmmmm.....I wonder if you need a charcoal block or something to hold the heat of the piece when fusing? I'll be giving it a try and let you know if I have any luck. This sounds discouraging. But, I know you are not a quitter! I'm sure I'll be in touch when I try fusing.
