well, for now...here it is...

there is much that is quite nice about this necklace.
BUT.
my photography skills are not great, nor is my printer. so i'm concerned that it doesn't look nearly as nice in my documentation as in real life.

AND i keep going back and forth..."like; don't like" the fangs. do you see what i mean, the fangs? those long silver beads? i don't like that they look a bit like fangs, i do like that they mimic the shape/value of the toggle stick. so they're staying. i guess.

really, i've spent too much time on this, so i have to send it out as it is and hope for the best.

don't the stones look beautiful in the top shot? (if you click on the photos, you can see them REALLY big)

Hi Holly! It looks beautiful! My fingers are crossed for you Kava Girl!

p.s. meanwhile, nothing new on my blog. How dull. I haven't been back in the studio for over a week and how can it be time to write another Cranberry Report already??!! Writing first, then back to the studio at last.

Holly this is just stunning!

And re the "fangs", vampires are so in at the moment and this is just an ultra-hip addition to the gorgeous piece :))

Is your application in the mail? Now just put it out of your mind until the end of November.
Like the "fangs" by the way. Are they hollow?

it's in the mail as of monday...whew! the fangs are solid...
and tomorrow 15 pieces are going out to an exhibit at baltimore clayworks titled "adornment adored"...now that that's all done, i think it's time to work on reasonably priced earrings for the holidays...or maybe just hang and rest for a few days...nah!

Will the pieces in the Baltimore exhibit be for sale? I keep thinking I will have Etsy going by October. We'll see. You've been really good at keeping your Etsy page fresh and exciting!

yes, they will be for sale...i'm just barely considering going down there for the opening (10/3), just to see what it's like, but that's a pretty long drive for curiosity.....
i CAN'T WAIT to see your etsy shop! it's really worth it, i just had a random sale yesterday...my etsy shop needs more silver work on it, now that most has relocated to baltimore....

Where is the show in Baltimore? Maybe I can send my son and his girlfriend over to take some photos. Or I can let my other friends in Baltimore know about it. My in-laws from there are still up here on the island.
Good luck if you go!
